LI.To add by splitting one number to make a tidy number.

This week for maths we had a to do a slide called Thinkboards.What we did was we had two slides to take a picture of how we explain the answer to the question.Then we have to write how we did it and what we use to get the answer then we had some practise to do.

Early NZ Exploration

Kupe and cook are two important explores in New zealand history.

Kupe arrived New Zealand in the 110's.He travelled by taditinal methods on a traditinal sail boat.Myth has it he followed a gaint Octopus.he did this voyage to find new land for his people to live.His wife nameal Nz Aotearoa after seeing mountains under the clouds

Kupe is important becausen he was the first documented person in NZ.

Captain James Cook arrived  in New Zealand on 6th of Octopus 1769.He had a misson to complete from the royal family.Captian James Cook came to New Zealand on his ship called Endeavour which had weapons in it.Captain James Cook is important because he mapped New Zealand and opened it up to the world to access.
