LI:To find as many similarities and differences as we can between NZ and Japan

In this task I had to find out as many similarities and differences as we can between NZ and Japan. One fact that really interested me was that Japan's population is 126.8 million because New Zealand's population is only 4.794 million which means New Zealand is really small compered to Japan. I also had to find out at lest three things that are the same about Japan and New Zealand. One similarities I learnt was that New Zealand has a top tax rate of 33.0% but Japan has a top tax rate of 56.0%.

LI.To find 5 places you would want to visit in japan.

This task is called places to visit in Japan, I had to find facts about Mt Fuji and give reasons of why I want to visit Mt Fuji. Two fact that I learnt was that Mt Fuji is actually a stratovolcano and it's the tallest mountain in Japan and also one of my reasons were,"I want to visit Mt Fuji because it’s a snow mountain and I haven’t played in snow for a long time."

Swimming/water safety/skills/T3W10

LI.To learn special water safety skills.

This week was the last week for swimming.
What we did for swimming was to put a life jacket on and what we did in the pool
was we had to get in a chain which it was like you have to lay down then put your hands on the back of the persons life jacket and then wiggle your legs around so the chain can move.
After we did the chain we learnt how to do the huggle it was like you have to put your arms around the person back because if they drown you would have to put your arms around the person back to pull them up in from the water.
And we had to have a race to the front and then come back swimming on your back.Then there's two last thing we did was the frist one was we had to put our left hand on our head and put your other hand on the left on the life jacket and then we have to take a big step in the water and after that we did this other thing that was we had to jump of and try and high five our swimming teacher which was Mrs Livvy.

LI.To apply inquiry, literacy and numeracy skills to learn about the RWC.



In this tasks,i had to match the players to their position.I also had to put more information about the players like [Richie Mccaw t-shirt number is 11].This made my table inserting.The last thing i had to do was to put the picture of the player next to their name.







Rube Goldberg/T3W10

LI.To apply knowledge of simple machines create a Rube Goldberg  

We did our Rube Goldberg machines. Our challenge was the putter challenge. We had to push cars into a marble. The marble rolls down on a Incline Plain. Then the marbles hit the Dominoes and the last domino has a pin. The pin will pop the water balloon the one of us hits the golf ball with a putter into a cup. We used Marbles, Putter, Dominoes, Golf ball, Pins, Balloon. String, ruler and water. The simple machines we used was the Incline plain, Wedge, Pulley, Lever. The dominoes were challenging to go through because every time the marble goes down the ruler the marble only hits some of the dominoes but not all of it. I would change the dominoes with a card board track instead. So the marble will roll smoothly on the card board into the last domino with the pins on it.

In this tasks i had to find  out five important facts about japan.one information that really interested me was that the flag meant the sun.
I realize that New Zealand is a really really small country compared to Japan. Japan has a 
 population of 126.8 million and the population for New Zealand is 4.794.

Rugby World Cup/T3W10


LI.Learning tasks we do as a whole class.

This week me and my group made this slide.
This slide we were doing was called [Rugby Events],we had to pick the years that the all blacks won the rugby world cup.  
In the text boxes there was events called day,events and Memories.
We had to add pictures to the boxes after we did the events.

This week me and my group made this slide.
We completed a slide called [World time] and there was 8 different rugby teams in this slide.We had to search up if the rugby teams were playing west or east and after that we have to pick one city from the east or west. After that we had to search up what time will it be in countries.

LI.to remember basic maths facts.


For basic facts i did a challenge.
And the was to put a timer on and try to finished my 
subtraction and i did my subtraction up to 5.
And my timer was 6minute and 47seconds and i did it on speed demon.

LI.What is flip slide or turn or rotate and translate.



For maths we had to make our own google drawing.
We had to use tables boxes,and it had to be 6x6 then after you do that
you have to put 2 or 5 bombs in the tables boxes but i did 2.
Then after that i had to use scribble to use it as a line to draw it in the boxes.

for swimming me and my group were doing Freestyle laps and Backstroke then
before we went and got changed there had to be three people in the line and then they had to have a race so all of us had races.
And that was for swimming and our swimming teacher was [Maddee's group]

For writing we had make a poster on google drawing of what we are selling .
And we had to write our description in the poster from our slide that we talk about the thing that we sell and the thing i sell was a wig.

LI.to apply the print design rules.

For cybersmart for this past term we have been learning about the 6 simple machines the human kinds has made. The humans used these types of machines because it was easier for them to do stuff. The 6 simple machines are Screws, Wheel and axle, incline plane, wedge, pulley & lever. This week we are now remaking a DLO on one of these machines. I have decided to make a poster about the machine screw.

We have also learned the print design rules. Layout, Text, Colour and composition.

We need to practice dealing with challenges,to deal with them easily in the future.
And for our topic was Dealing with challenges,and for our theme was Resilience.
We did a bus stop for our Activity.we had to explain the challenges in the pictures.
And our engizer we did ballon pop and what we had to do let one person throw the ball up and
we all had to try and grab the ball and  if a person got the ball they have to say a fruit that starts with
the frist letter of their name and they had to throw the ball to someone in the group.

Then we did this slide called idea and what we had to do for that slide was we had to answer the question with a thing that we want to sell like a car or anything
but i did a car which was a Lamborghini but then after that you have to get a picture of a Lamborghini and the link.
Then we did this other slide which you had to get loaded and emotive text words like you have to
 get emotive and loaded words about your car.

LI.to learn about things that are challenge for you.



Today kiwi can we did some challenges.
Our topic was resilience and our theme was challenge.
 For our activity we played 
this game called [jump in and jump out look up and look down 
turn around and touch the ground] that was for our activity.
For our energizer we did this art thing which we had to make a plan on a paper making a cross or a plus and the class had to get in to 3 groups, but our kiwi can teacher [mrs mac] gave us clues with a paper.And that we did for kiwi can but our points we made it up to 45 points and that how much all together for our respect and another good things we did and that what we did for kiwi can.

And for today kiwi can it was fun and i was happy and thats what i felt like at kiwi can.
